How cute is this little man?!  Mom was worried we would have trouble getting some smiles out of him since he is a very serious baby (love that!), but I am happy to say mission accomplished!  We even got their furbaby in on the action. My fellow photographers will be able to relate to how difficult it is to get a dog and a baby to both cooperate at the same exact time!  Thanks to the “T” family for a fun-filled morning. Your son is precious!

I met up with this lovely family a few weeks ago at one of my favorite locations.  Our session had been rescheduled a couple times and as I was leaving my house the thunder clouds started to roll in. I could not believe our luck!  I was super anxious since this family was already on their way and had a long drive.  Luckily, the storm moved through before they arrived and the ground remained fairly dry.  We ended up having a wonderful session and I was able to capture some of my favorite family portraits to date.  We shared lots of giggles and also learned that baby “D” did not like the grass (very common for that age!) Such a gorgeous family!

I got to spend the day with baby “B” on his 12th day of life. He was such an adorable and alert little guy. Just loved his serious expressions and full head of hair!  It took us a bit to get him ready for his sleepy shots, but nothing a little rocking and white noise didn’t help.  I had a lovely time photographing him and his wonderful parents. I wish I looked as amazing as this mom right after giving birth!  Here’s a look into our session:

I was so happy to meet up with Miss “H” again. The last time I saw her she was about 2.5 months old. She has changed so much! She is crawling, cruising, and just a pure joy.  We did a mixture of some candid images in her gorgeous nursery as well as some more traditional posed shots.  I love the way they turned out! Miss “H” will be turning one next month and I am thrilled to be able to photograph her again – this time outdoors.  Be on the look out for that session soon!

I will admit that I was a little bit worried when I pulled into the driveway of this client’s home and it started to downpour. Luckily, it was a fast moving storm and dad was extremely helpful in helping me bring all of my gear in.  Thanks!!  The cloudy skies actually gave us some soft, beautiful natural light to work with.  Sweet baby “A” was a dream and was happily awake for the beginning of our session and then went right to sleep for us an hour or so later.  Big sister “J” was as cute as can be and you can really see in these photos how much she loves her little sister already. Congrats to the “M” family on their newest addition.  It was a pleasure working with you!
