I always look forward to photographing my cousin’s handsome son. Isn’t he adorable?! This year was extra exciting because I got to meet his new cousin. She is just precious and was just learning how to sit on her own. I just loved her huge smiles! Now that the holidays are over, the family has seen their surprise portraits. I had an amazing in-home newborn session with this sweet baby boy before the holidays. He was a great sleeper and was also content while awake. Just loved his chunky cheeks! He was welcomed into such a loving family. Really enjoyed chatting with his mom, dad, and grandma. Enough talking – take a look at the images!
I could not believe how much Miss “A” has changed since I had last seen her as a newborn! She is walking running and talking now and has an adorable personality. I had a great time following her around as she showed me some of her favorite things (mommy, squirrels, and her dog!). Here are some of my favorites from our session:
We had an absolutely gorgeous evening for this family’s session! We had been planning it for months and I found out by emailing with mom that Dad and I actually worked together about 15 years ago – small world!
I was in love with how well mom had everyone dressed and ready to go! Their adorable dog even tagged along and was extremely cooperative and well trained. I had a blast following these little boys around and documenting them playing and having fun with mom and dad. There was lots of wagon rides, tickling, running, and cuddling. I love the expressions of pure love and joy in so many of the images from that night. Thanks to the “S” family for a great night! Here’s a peak into our fun evening:
I met up with this lovely family a few weeks ago at one of my favorite locations. Our session had been rescheduled a couple times and as I was leaving my house the thunder clouds started to roll in. I could not believe our luck! I was super anxious since this family was already on their way and had a long drive. Luckily, the storm moved through before they arrived and the ground remained fairly dry. We ended up having a wonderful session and I was able to capture some of my favorite family portraits to date. We shared lots of giggles and also learned that baby “D” did not like the grass (very common for that age!) Such a gorgeous family!
