I cannot believe it’s been a whole year since I photographed Miss “L” as a newborn. She has changed so much and was just as sweet as ever! One year can be a tough age to capture smiles, but Miss “L” was full of them and we all had a great time. Isn’t this family just gorgeous?! I love it when I can capture loosely posed images with real interaction and emotion. This is a huge post because I absolutely adore every image from this session.
Better late than never, right? My baby turned one at the end of October – the height of my busy season. I managed to get her cake smash session edited in time for the holidays, but just getting around to posting them now. Bad mommy!
I just can’t get enough of all the newborn girls lately! I was so excited to photograph this adorable baby because mom and I knew each other from work. Miss “M” spent the first half of our session just checking out her surroundings, but mom was able to put her fast asleep. She did amazing and slept through each and every pose perfectly! I always love it when I can get some great awake shots as well as a variety of sleeping poses. It was so hard for me to just pick a few to edit as there are so many great shots from our session. I’ll have to come back and do another post after I am done editing them all

I had a lovely Saturday morning with two of the most adorable brothers! They came out from Pennsylvania and we spent the morning at one of my favorite locations. I thought mom did a fabulous job at coordinating their outfits – loved their sweaters layered over the plaid shirts! I seriously could not get over how well-behaved and easy-going these boys were. Big brother “M” just turned four and I was prepared for a challenge, but he was a great listener and we had fun in between shots. Little brother “J” is 9 months and at such a great age – we got some great serious expressions as well as some adorable smiles. I think he really liked my basket I hope you enjoy this preview of our session!
So this post comes with great happiness and a little bit of sadness, too! I look at my baby and she is growing up way too fast. Six months old already!! She is such a joy and is starting to develop quite the personality. I can’t get enough of her gummy smile and her baby babble melts my heart. Just want to bottle her up and keep her this little forever! I brought my sister along with us to one of my favorite locations to help get a smile or two from Miss Mallory (who started off very serious). I hope these images bring a smile to someone’s face – they surely do to mine!
….and yes, the chive flower definitely made it’s way into her mouth!
